Below are three pictures of the crowd that showed up on April 17, 2010 for the Annual Buffalo Niagara Riverkeeper cleanup at the park and along Ellicott Creek.  A crew of people also went to Glen Park and Island Park to cleanup. This is an annual event at Amherst State Park, so come and join us next year to help keep the park clean.

    On April 19, 2010 a truck from the New York State Department of Conservation Caledonia Fish Hatchery arrived with hundreds of rainbow trout around 10:30 am after stocking trout at Glen Park. A bucket brigade was formed and the trout where unloaded from the truck into buckets and where dumped into Ellicott Creek along the shore just below the bridge.
